1. The Tea Grotto
This is the place to be for all things tea.
This cafe has a relaxed vibe and is staffed by tea experts. They also offer tea-infused food, for something a little different. Get a delicious, made-to-perfection iced tea, or try something blended.
Nothing will cool you off on a warm summer day like one of their blended milk teas. Try some of our favorites, from the cinnamon-topped vanilla chai or the unique Thai tea. If you’re a fan of boba tea, you can find it at The Tea Grotto.
If you get truly hooked on their delicious teas, you can even order them online, along with the tools you need to prepare them.
2. The Rose Establishment
Calling all hipsters, this cafe is perfect for days of work on your laptop or with a good book. The wood interior is both cozy and trendy for all-day hangouts. The coffee and tea options are endless, and they also offer a beer and wine menu.
If you’re in need of a bite, head there for brunch or lunch. The menu options are unique and healthy, perfect for any vegetarian or vegan.
If you’re there for a cup of tea, grab the loose leaf, which is served in a small pot perfect for instant refills. If you’re looking for something a little bit fancier, try the Black Rose, which is a black tea with spices and ginger.
3. Tea Zaanti
This place wasn’t voted Salt Lake City’s best teahouse for nothing.
This cozy joint has the comfortability of walking into a warm house, with plush couches and chairs galore. Tea Zaanti strives to be community-based and sustainable, using solar panels for energy and composting tea leaves in their backyard garden.
Head there for a delicious matcha tea, which comes in several flavors, and light bites. Their grilled cheese and tomato soup will make you feel right at home, and don’t leave without trying one of their delicious coconut macaroons. P.S. They just moved right across from our office. Which means we’ll be there all the time now.
4. The Grand America
Looking for something a little less casual?
Head to The Grand America Hotel for an afternoon of high tea. They offer up a delicious cup of tea as well as hot chocolate for the kids.
